Catechesis of the
Good Shepherd

Do you have a 3-6 year old child in your life who would enjoy time with the Lord in a peaceful setting designed just for them? Consider Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) sessions held at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls. CGS came about through the work of two Roman Catholic laywomen in Rome. They were inspired by the educational principles of Maria Montessori, also a Catholic. The materials they prepare for children, since 1954, were based on the Bible, the Roman Catholic liturgy and sacraments, Tradition, and Church teachings. Catechesis of the Good Shepherd takes place in a lovingly prepared environment called an atrium. The materials prepared for the atrium are meant to lead the child to wonder and joy in the Lord. Children come once a week for 75 minutes, we offer sessions on Tuesday from 3:45 pm-5:00 pm or Thursday from 9:00-10:15 am.
